If you ported from a landline / voip number over to Public Mobile it could take up to 7 days to complete.

Make sure you do not cancel your previous provider's services.

Incoming calls are usually the last to port over.

Are you trying to port a number in? If so, you need to reply to a text from the old carrier (while still using the old carrier's SIM card) before this can be completed.

do you get a SMS message from your old carrier asking to confirm if you would like to Transfer your number. Your reply should be: YES.

 

if you stuck with Transferring your old Phone Number, or is not complete processing

  • which carrier,

  • Check your private message inbox (click on the envelope top right of your screen)

 

you can try reseat the SIM card and Make sure your phone is off before removing your SIM card,

1. power off your device

2. take out the SIM card,

3. waiting a 1 minute,

4. put it back and power on,

5. toggling airplane mode off/on,  

 

and try manually selecting network "3G ONLY" or WCDMA only,

and do Rebooting your phone ,This is quick and simple,to refreshing your network,

*what is meant by rebooting the device turn off and turn it back on.

Does your PM account says: Active?

Did you pick new number or initiated porting?

Does anything works at all? SMS/Internet?

@michel714   did you request porting your number from another provider?  If so, did you reply YES to the text from your old provider within 90 mins?

 

Likely it is a stuck port.  I will send you a number , you can call and retrigger the process or ask for update of the porting.   Please check your Community inbox , envelope icon on the top right
