credit usually add within couple days. But you already waited 7 days, it make sense to ask support agent.
I suggest you to just submit by message and include a screenshot of the email, submit by direct message:

even though i was not a referral, i received an email from public mobile that if i activated my account
by 09 May (which i did comply) that i woud receive "bonus" credit of $10.00

Unfortunately, there is no $10 bonus credit for customers who simply activate a new account. For the $10 credit, the customer must have been referred. Was a referral code used?

@Pm987 you are the new subscriber who just joined?? the $10 should be showing as Available Funds on My Account. Try login again using Incognito mode to avoid cache problem
