The payment system has been finicky recently.
You could try to logout first. Log back in with a different web browser, clear cache or incognito mode.

May even need to try in 24 hours. If need to pay asap, you could purchase a payment voucher either in store (ie. Shoppers, Shell, Canadian Tire) or online (recharge.com - service fee applies).
