A friend is having problems with her account. Hoping someone here can help. As follows:

 

Hi there,

I wanted to sign in and had lots of issues.  Finally I was able to sign into my account (after having to change my password twice) but not to the Community.  I am trying to register in to the Community section but it hasnt been accepting my passwords even if I change them on the site.  Somehow I got a ticket sent but to respond to it I have to be able to log into the Community site!  Which I seem unable to do. Which is my reason for putting a ticket in.   I don’t know how to reach a moderator.  The bot is useless. I was wondering if you could send a note in about my account and the issues I am having.  If I could have a direct link to a moderator that would help. Her name:

Edit by popping:  Remove the photo with account info as anyone can access your post.

That's your best bet to contact them if the matter is account-related.

 

They may have to verify the account so be sure to have the account verification items close by so the Moderators can ensure they're dealing with an authorized request.

Thanks. That was a fast response. I now realize I shouldn't have published her acct info. I'll take your advice and contact a moderator.

You can create a ticket on your friend behalf OR ask your friend to send a private message to the moderator team directly after login to the community.

Here's how you reach a Moderator, @pharris .    If you're having problems with Option 1, use Option 2 to directly private message them.

 

To contact a moderator, there are 2 methods:

 

  1. Use the ticketing system for a faster response time. Click here and type moderator, then select contact us, then select you need a human now.  Follow the prompts to submit a ticket,  or, 
  2. Send a private message to the moderator by clicking here  You’ll need to be logged into your Community account for the link to work.

 

Watch for their response in your Community private mailbox which will be indicated by a number on the small envelope icon to the left of your Community avatar.
