Once you start an activation the system allows for certain amount of time to activate. If your attempt fails or you get an error message before you enter your payment details you have to start over but before you can you have to wait out a 50 minute session lock or you will get that message.

Clear your browser. Reboot your device. Open one tab only in secret/incognito mode using firefox, chrome or safari. Use ALL CAPS. Do not use autofill. Don't use the back button. Use your credit cards billing address exactly but put any suite number in the street address. (ie. 101-123 1ST AVE W CITY PROVINCE ) Do not put a space in your postal code (X0X0X0).

@kflynn

Is this a new Public Mobile SIM card?

If you did not get past the payment section, the SIM is likely locked.

Too many attempts and the SIM locks in the system. Close out and try again in one hour.

When you do try again:

  • clear your browser's cache or use a different browser
  • try the activation pages by opening an incognito tab

You could also try activating using this method: Public Mobile Online Activation Assistance

@kflynn

I'm presuming you're attempting to activate a new Public Mobile account.

Make sure you're entering the correct digits from the SIM card.

Try waiting 1 hour. clearing cache and cookies, then enter incognito mode, then try again
