Number not transferring from Fido

So I transferred my number from Fido and said YES to the transfer request. That was earlier today and the number has not been transferred and I’ve been waiting on a call from public as they texted me and said they would call me shortly. Not sure as it’s been almost 5 hours since I got that text. What should I do?

So I did reply yes to the Fido transfer request but got a text from public saying there was an error and public would contact me shortly.

i was never able to get contacted by public.

my old sim from Fido is still working and that’s what I’ve been using for texts and calls.

can you at least able to make outgoing calls??

A critical part to porting is to receive a text from your old provider and you have to reply YES within 90 mins.  If you are not receiving calls and text on your PM sim card, and only outgoing calls work, then you might have missed the step and hence porting was not completed

There is a number to call to talk to live support,  they can re-trigger the process for you.  I will message the number to you via the Community inbox ( https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/privatenotespage ) .  Check the envelope icon on top right.  Call them and get it fixed
