I changed my cell phone number to Public Mobile from Koodo 2 weeks ago and haven't had texting ability since. Everything else seems ok though.

Yes, I have created 2 tickets but no response.

@TLabecki

handy and myself are just customers like you and not PM support

from what you mentioned, it looks like just a sim provisioning issue and it is an easy fix for PM support.  Please open ticket with them if you have not done so:

1. Open ticket via Chatbot (need access to My Account): At https://widget.telus.tiia.ai/publicmobile/publicmobile.html
    Start by typing "Submit a ticket", then click "Contact Us", then "Other", then "Log In", finally click "Click here to submit a ticket ↗
2. If you have trouble with Chatbot or you don't have access to My Account: Private message CS Agent at:
       https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/composepage/note-to-user-id/22437
**Monitor your Community inbox (envelope icon on the top right) after ticket submitted, CS Agent will reply to you there

No phone calls either..it's my disabled daughter's phone. She did get a text from Koodo re the phone number and responded yes to use old number but unsure if did it in time...

@TLabecki you sure you are getting incoming calls?  Especially, can you get calls from non-telus phones, like Rogers or Bell?

Using an e-sim, tried to use same phone number but never got text from Koodo about that which I understood should have happened...

@TLabecki

Which model phone are you using?  iPhone versus android?

Try a network reset of the phone. Note: this will erase any saved Wifi passwords

You can also try your SIM card in another working phone.  That would help determine whether it is a hardware issue versus PM service problem.
