Hi Mary, perhaps you can post a follow up to issues like these, after you have investigated/resolved or identified an issue?
This way when people click on similiar links, in some way YOU/PM can report a resolution as to what the problem was ( either user error or network problem) and provide a solution or confirmation of a network issue?

There is no service outage in BC, unless its in specific area. Try removing the sim and rebooting your phone.

No one else has reported an outage. Let's tag @Mary_M in case she has some info. It's odd for a sim to fail but can happen.
Would be great if you could find another PM customers and try their sim in your phone.
Normally we'd suggest a factory reset but since you have the same problem with your sim in another phone that really doesn't make sense.

Log into your account to ensure it is active.
Is the problem just at home or everywhere, even miles away? Where are you?

We did this morning in Mississauga. Reboot did work for me; try a network reset.
Can you see Public Mobile on the phone, or No Service?
