@mungsun

Can you help us understand who is "the repairman"?

Have you been dealing with Public Mobile Customer Service Agents?

Actually , what was the exact message asking for the PIN?  You make me wonder what kind of PIN you are looking for, a device level PIN? SIM PIN (I hope not)?

@softech  - yeah, not sure if this is the Account PIN needed or not.

But @mungsun should be able to clarify...,please do. 🙂

If the SIM code is locked after too many attempts you will need CSA support anyhow, by methods provided by softech.

But if this is a locked phone, then you will need to have the previous provider unlock it for your. Or, do directly to Samsung to get it unlocked.

Can you try the SIM into another compatible phone to see if the issue persists?

@mungsun   the 4 digit pin to be used on for *611?

You might have got a text from PM about the PIN  in the beginning when you activated. .  Check to see it

If you cannot find it, you willhave to contact PM Support and ask them to reset it for you
