Hey PM Community,
I tried my best to get this plan by messaging customer service directly, the $29 a month 20GB 5G CAN-US-Mex plan that was made available at the end of last year. I have been with PM for many years and have made many referrals for this company and was just hoping that they would make this available not only for new customers, but for existing customers.
Here are the responses I received from Customer Service:
1) "The plan is available for new activations only, however, there are very good plans available for existing customers as well."
2) "Unfortunately the system doesn't allow us to downgrade your plan to a lower priced plan and we can only upgrade you to a higher priced plan."
3) "There are no plans under $35 available for existing customers."
So the question I have is even if a good plan is made available, would I even be able to select it? I'm currently paying $34 for a 15GB 5G CAN-US plan. Or can I only choose more expensive plans and is that even legal to do as a business practice? That as a customer you aren't able to choose cheaper plans or that you aren't even shown the cheaper plans.

There a few things you can do.
You can port your number out to a different provider then Port it back to get what you want. But if your going to do that you should find a plan close to what you wanted and stay with them instead of the hassle of porting back
You can cancel your account and open a new one with a new number.
That about all you can do to get a cheaper plan now.

@Master_P unfortunately, they've been declining people for about 6 months now. You can always change plans; it just have to be available in your account specifically when you sign in.
Have you checked? Some people port out and back, but honestly I don't think it's worth the effort.
