New subscription sim number entry

I am signing up using an existing SIM from my iPhone 12.  There are more numbers on my SIM card than I am allowed to enter in the format provided.  Which numbers do I enter?

@Talison

You need to use a new Public Mobile sim card (or e-sim) to activate. Physical Public Mobile sim cards have 19 digits starting with: 8912230000XXXXXXXXX.

Great question @Talison

A 16k SIM card can usually handle up to 250 contacts and of course a 32k SIM card can handle up to 500 contacts. I'm not aware of the K that Public Mobile SIM cards hold. However, because SIM cards can not be reused to open an account, it's best to purchase a new SIM card or eSIM for your iPhone 12. Then once complete, insert your old SIM into the phone and transfer all the contacts from the SIM to the phone. Here's how. Tap Settings > Contacts > Import SIM Contacts.

you cannot use existing sim for new subscription, you need to buy a new Public Mobile sim card.  You can get it from Telus or Koodo stores around you for $10  (ask for Public Mobile sim card) or you can buy from Amazon for $5. https://www.amazon.ca/Public-prepaid-postpaid-Activate-Allinone/dp/B06X9ZGDWG

@Talison in your post you mention you are signing up using an existing SIM, if you are a new customer it has to be a brand new Public Mobile specific SIM card, all carriers must use their own SIM cards, they are not interchangeable. Can you please confirm if I understood this correctly?
