New Point System

With old Rewards:

• you're getting $2 from AutoPay

• you're getting $5 from Loyalty

• it's automatically credited to your account balance

• this is saving you $7 per month = $84 per year

With new Points™:

• you'll get 5 Points™ for signing up (even if you're being forced to sign up)

• you'll get 2 Points™ from Referrals per month

• you'll get 10 Points™ from "loyalty" at the end of each year

• you'll get 5% of what you spend (pay for your plan and add-ons) as Points™

• you can login to your account and spend Points™ (once you have 15 or more Points™)

• this can save you about $15 per year (maybe a few extra bucks on the first year)

I can definitely confirm this on Legacy Side:

• $2 from autopay
• $2+ from Loyalty
• Auto credits
• Refer-a-friend = $1 off
• $2+ guaranteed 

With The Points:

• 1 points per referral
• Wider variety of choices to use on points
• 10 points every year (Confirmed with one account)
• 5% from spending on plan amount (Unsure with add-ons)
• Earn at least 20 points annually.

The above point isn't correct. It's only 1 point per referral.
