Need to unlock a Bell, Rogers, Fido and Telus?

I have found using chat a fairly quick and easy way to unlock a phone while in the comfort of your home. You will need to be sure what carrier it was on and have the full IMEI number ready.

You should make sure it is really locked first by checking below or do some Sim card swaps. Also on an iPhone, if you attach iPhone to computer using iTunes and do a reset....the last screen will give you a confirmation message saying your phone is unlocked (but no message if it is locked).

It is always a good idea before you do anything with a phone.....update the operating system first.

I have been reading about phones that don’t work with a PM SIM card. Obviously the first questions are is the Sim inserted, have network settings been reset, has phone been rebooted and is the phone unlocked?

I have provided some URLs that I use when purchasing a second hand iPhone. I have never been let down when using these checks!

Information here is also helpful while having difficulty setting up an iPhone (or other) on PM on first attempt. This article is slanted towards using an iPhone.

You will need the full IMEI number with no spaces.
