Who was your previous service provider, or better, who is the phone locked to?

Hypothetically, let's say your phone is locked to Rogers. You need to call Rogers Customer Service (or live chat if they still do that), and request your iPhone(s) to be unlocked. Have your IMEI(s) ready for both phones if you're going to unlock your iPhone 6 and iPhone 5C.

Once the rep inserts it into their system, they're going to ask you for an email address to email the confirmation of the unlock to, at least that's how it worked in my case with Rogers (but as I usually say, YMMV).

Then, restart your phone (hard restart would be better but power on/off will do). Then go through the activation process again. If there is no activation lock on the device (iCloud lock), then you should be good to go. If you still get no service, then it's probably hardware related or blacklisted (if you bought the phone used and previous owner reported stolen).

Good luck.

Maybe fully power down phone. Insert SIM. Restart.

Did you get a previous provider to unlock it for you?

Try restarting your phone, and check APN settings under Cellular-Cellular Data Network- and make sure APN says isp.mb.com

If your sim card is not working on your iphone 6

Update your iPhone to te latest version of iOS

Restart your iPhone

Check for a carrier settings update.

Remove your SIM card from the SIM card tray and then put the SIM card back.

Try using another SIM CARD

If it still does not work but the Sim card works in another phone, try apple support, but one of these solutions should work! best of luck

Please remember that there is no such thing as an unlock code for any iPhone device.  These devices need to be marked as unlocked in an Apple database. But yes, the old carrier can get this done.

Well, sort of; 3rd party unlock codes can be purchased BUT the unlock is confirmed by syncing with iTunes.

Schooled !

Me too! That's why I didn't say anything about locked. First...it's Apple of which I have a mental blind spot for and second I wasn't sure where to get it unlocked and with that even whether something was from itunes or something.

The service works so that's as far as this place needs to care. It's up to you to figure out why it's not working on your specific phone.

We can offer ideas to try to get you going.

Sim card not support message on iPhone devices is usually indicative of the device  being locked to a different carrier. Have these devices ever been used at diffrerent carriers?

 @Calvinjesso

Are you getting any message after inserting the SIM?

Apparently that phone is notorious for antenna problems.

But at least you know the service works.
