Missing recent texts while porting

transfer to public mobile 24 hours ago and just started being able to send and receive text messages. I have not received any text messages that would have been sent to me within the last 24 hours. However. What has happened to these? Will I get them? How do I get them? Thank you.

I did not get mine when it happened to me. I didn't know if you can. Maybe put in a ticket with pm?

PM is having problem provisioning text capability for new activations.  And if you are an iPhone user,  iMessage activation by phone number will also be impacted without a working SMS.

PM is working on a fix but for now, they can only resolve the issue on a case by case basis.  Please open ticket with PM support by messaging CS Agent here:
