but that was not what happened. The system deducted my non-expiring data instead of the loyalty bonus data.
How do I reverse the situation?

Your bonus data which expires, should be used immediately following your cycle plan data.
AFTER the bonus data is consumed, any non-expiring data available which was added to the account will then be drawn upon.
