@kentnleung, what was the issue, or is it still a mystery that resolved itself?

Since we don't know yet if it's an issue that requires moderator assistance, it's best not to tag moderators unless necessary.  They are still dealing with some backlog of help requests from the Freedom promo, so we should try not to add more tags that draw their attention.  Since all help requests eventually get solved through private messaging anyway, it's better to simply provide a link to contact moderators.

For example:

Click this Moderator_Team link to private message for assistance.
More info on moderators:  http://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/Knowledge-Base/Updated-Contacting-our-Community-Modera...

(The first link will take the member directly to the private message composer.)

Well various things affect reception, so maybe you're holding your phone at the antenna, weather conditions, building materials in the building you're in.

try restarting you device.

Have service at Yonge & Bloor in Toronto...no issues.

Must be just you and/or the area near you (if you're in BC, could be a fire took down the cell tower, if you're in a crowded area could just be too many Telus/PM/Koodo users in the area meant you lost service).

1. Don't panic

2. Restart your phone, if that doesn't bring your reception back, try 3.

3. Shut off your phone, take the sim out, insert it back in and start the phone.

4. If that fails, try to manually search for the network in the settings.

If everything fails, contact a mod here asap. glitches do happen.
