Password not accepted and password reset doesn't work: "Sorry, you've been locked out. Please contact Public Mobile for help."

Please open a ticket by going to https://publicmobile.ca/chatbot

From there, you can type something such as "forgot my security answer".

Here’s how to contact the Moderator Team (Public Mobile representative) for assistance:

  • Get help with your account the easy way by starting a conversation with our virtual assistant, SIMon. It’ll take you to relevant help articles, or if it’s something more urgent, it can help you submit a ticket to the Moderator Team. Click here to get started.

If you can't reset your password, you will need to contact moderator also.

To contact moderator via 2 methods:

  1. Ticketing system - faster response time

Click on the question mark on the right lower corner of website to start ticketing process to contact moderator.  Type: Contact moderator. Follow the prompts to submit ticket.  

or

2 Send a private message to moderator through the following link :

Wait one hour and then choose the Forgot your password link. Have you tried dialing 611?

 

If you continue to have problems contact a moderator by choosing the ? in the lower right hand corner and following the prompts or use this link:

Have you tried the forgotten password link? If you still have problems contact  a moderator:

 

Please use the chatbot SIMon to help you solve your issue. If SIMon cannot solve your issue then you have the option to contact a moderator.

 

Step 1: Choose the ? button at the right bottom corner of this page or choose “Get Help” at the top of the page and then choose the “Chat with SIMon” button.

 

Step 2: Tell SIMon what the issue is and see if he can find a solution for you.

 

Step 3: If Simon cannot find a solution then type in “moderator” to connect to a Public Mobile customer service representative.

 

Step 4: Simon will present you with two choices. Choose “Account-specific question”

I cannot log in to my account - ever - since initially set up. Each time I try to reset the password, I am told an email is being sent to me, but it never arrives. If I attempt to register, I receive a message that my number has already been registered. Just a circle of frustration each month in an effort to pay, which eventually involves driving to a convenience store to top up. How do I get this resolved?!

Were any settings changed like the network type? If not, it sounds like you need a moderator's help.

I am using LG  LM-X210MA

It works with PM, as I tried it with my sister PM SIM, it worked just fine. I bought a new SIM card for myself today in WM, and register it on-line. It did not work. Please help!

Which error messages does the self serve account give?  Wait one hour before trying again.  If it still doesn't let you in, try the forgot password option.

 

If that doesn't work, go to https://publicmobile.ca.ada.support/chat/ and type in "rep". When you tell it that you can't get into self serve, it will ask for your account PIN to verifty your identity.

 

As for phone service not working, it's possible that your account never activated properly.  However, I would stil check the compatibility factor of your phone.  Which phone model is it?  Either way, since you can't get into your self serve account, opening a ticket will likely be necessary either way.

I activated new SIM and created new on-line account. SIM activation went through and I paid for the servcie by vaucher which I purchased. But when I inserted SIM into the phone, there is no service. In addition, I cannot logon with my user name/pwd into my account as it gives me an error.

Try again in an hour. Clear you cache files and try a different web browser.

You should read through some of the suggestions mentioned earlier in this thread to see if anything will help.  If nothing helps contact Moderator_Team via SIMon ? mark bubble bottom right of the screen to submit a ticket.  It's suggested to type in 'get ticket' and ' contact us' to get your ticket started.

If you have a valid payment card on file you can use the 611 service. You can also buy vouchers in stores or online and also use the 611 service.
