Hello,
The line number given to me by another provider belongs to Duncan, BC. Can I transfer the number to Public Mobile? If yes, please provide the procedure. I can purchase the SIM Card from a Telus shop.
Thanks,
YS19

HI @YS19
actually, the result from that Koodo link will apply to Public Mobile as PM and Koodo both owned by Telus and use the same network
If it shows it can be ported, then make sure you have the account number of your old carrier. Make sure the old carrier account still active. Then activate with Public Mobile using the app. On step 5 with phone number, just choose the option to bring in the number and provide the account number of the old carrier. After PM's activation completed, please still leave your old carrier sim in the phone and turn on. Your old carrier will send you a text to ask for your approval to port and you need to reply within 90 mins. Once you replied Yes, you can put your PM sim card in the phone and wait for the port to completed. Reboot the phone every 15 mins until inbound calls work with PM sim

Hello @YS19
Use this link to see if you can port the number over.

Also note that not all Telus stores carry Public Mobile SIM cards. Amazon Prime is the faster way.
