I talked with Bell support since I am switching to Bell. The support agent said that I need public mobile to manually release my phone number.

You'll likely have to reactivate your public mobile account.

This may also mean you'll need to purchase a SIM card so that you can receive the port authorization request and reply yes to it within 90 minutes.

Best of luck!

Hello @Ugur12

You should have received a text message from Public Mobile asking permission to port your number to Bell. You had 90 minutes to reply. If you missed it, Bell can re trigger the request. This means your Public Mobile account MUST be active still. If it's not active, the port will not work.

You can reach out to a CS Agent for help with this.
