You got your sim card already? If not, get a Public Mobile sim card form Telus or Koodo store near you
I guess you cannot login My Account to make the change yourself, so, best to ask support agent to update the card number for you. Just submit ticket by direct message:

Go to the profile tab in self service and choose change sim card number.
