Failure in mobile phone number port fr Fido

I subscribed to the Public Mobile service plan on 13 Dec but failed to respond to the SMS from the previous provider and Public Mobile.

I called the previous provider and verbally authorized the number port out, but how can I get the SMS from Public Mobile to re-initiate the number transfer?

There is usually a 90 minute window to respond to the confirmation text message that is sent to you from Fido. You will need to contact the porting team phone number so that they could retrigger the porting process. You should receive the confirmation text that way. I'll send it to your community inbox because phone numbers cannot be sent through the public forum. Keep an eye on the little envelop icon!
