  • The account holder has died. How do we notify Public Mobile  to cancel the account and pay off the final bill?

Hi Milton, sorry for your loss. You can email death certificate to Public Mobile customer service and request to make final payment. Hope you're doing well during time of grieving.

HI @DanielDay

sorry for the lost

do you knowif the account holder use his/her credit card to pay before? If that is the case, once the card is cancelled, PM cannot take money from the card and the account will be suspended and then closed after 90 days

As mentioned by myself and others, there is no final bill payment. Public Mobile only offers prepaid services.

If you are able to access the Account turn off auto pay under 'Manage Subscription'.

'Manage Subscription - Enable/Disable Auto-Pay'

Sorry to hear this.  There is no final bill. Public Mobile only offers prepaid service.  There's also no need to actively cancel the account. After the account has been suspended for 90 days, the account will automatically close.  All that needs to be done is to halt payments to Public Mobile.  Assuming that the account holder was paying with a credit or debit card under the same name, closure of those bank and credit card accounts would mean that payments to Public Mobiel would fail.  Assuming that debit or credit card has already been disabled, there's nothing left to do Public Mobile-wise.

@Milton49   First of all sorry for your loss. . pM is pre  paid so there will not be a final bill . But to stop from renewing again for another 30 days . you can ask support to remove  credit card on file . Or if the credit card was in the name of your loved one . Once the bank  is notified the card will be canceled and not charged agin also
