Credit Card processing issue today?

nickstuyt

Hello,

Found my phone not working today. Autopay is enabled.

Plenty of capacity is on my card to easily cover the payment.

A few days ago I added some addons to another phone number I have.

These numbers share payment from the same credit card.

Could that have confused the payment system?

Regards,

I updated my credit card info (same info too) and still it didn't change.

I ended up using the same credit card to buy a couple vouchers and paid by that method.

My daughters number is working again.

This has been good for both my numbers for nearly 4 years until now.

I wonder whats going to happen at the next interval?

@nickstuyt

Try to manually load some funds maybe a few days prior to your next payment date equivalent to what is due.  Just in case.

@nickstuyt  you usually get that message when:

  1. You moved , updated your address with your bank, but not on PM.
  2. Your credit card expired and you forgot to update it in the system.

Sorry, we are unable to verify your credit card information, so this transaction could not be completed. Your credit card has not been charged.

Still happening.

Well I am not answering your concern at hand I had read about these issues before I started with PM.  I have auto-pay but it never kicks in but I still receive the $2 off.  After a payment is taken from my balance, a few days later I top up my account again for the next due payment. So far it hasn’t failed me. I just don’t want the inconvenience of my phone not working. I look at it just as paying another bill every month. While I do not recommend having a large balance this hybrid option could be prepaid 1, 2, or 3 months ahead. I print the overview page and give it a BF date to make sure I am on top of it. Hope this helps.

Edit:I prepay the amount due minus my guaranteed rewards.

@nickstuyt Did you try incognito mode/other browsers? If still same stuff, send a message with all info to moderators directly to get some help: https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/composepage/note-to-user-id/22437

@nickstuyt  I'd suggest you either contact the Moderator team, to get it straightened out, OR if you need service right away, and can't wait, maybe you should buy a voucher and add that to renew your plan, and then contact the Moderator team about the problem.

[Service restored with different workaround but  mods needed to fix card issue ..... Luddite]

@nickstuyt  And if you can add funds, as @Staliger  suggested, you might also need to hit the "Reactivate" button in your account.

@nickstuyt Sometimes Autopay fails. Try to add $ to cover your plan (plus addons if CC was not charged for them) on your self-service account + 1$ extra manually.
