How to change phone number back to old number ?

@stephenbarsalo1

  1. Call your old number to see if is available=not in service.
  2. Is it originally a telus/koodo/pm phone number?
  3. If not you must go to the original provider and activate with them with your request.
  4. If its a telus family number pm's official policy is not to do on request phone number retrievals but if you get a willing moderator on the right day they might try to retrieve the phone #.

@stephenbarsalo1  if your "Old" number is now with another provider, you can simply request a porting.  If you have a PM account already, just go into My Account and chick Change Number and select Transfer a wireless or wireline number from another provider.

If you have given up your Old Number already  (maybe via Change Number and picked a new number, or maybe the old number was with another provider and the account is no longer active), then I am afraid you wouldn't be able to get it back... at least you wont be able to get it back easily.

Give us more information and hope we can help

 @stephenbarsalo1 : What old number? That's over with another provider? That you abandoned somewhere along the way? Some more details of your intentions would be helpful.

Change your Phone Number

You can change your phone number up to 4 times every 30 days after you’ve activated. To change or transfer your number after activation, go to your Self Serve Account here and:

  • Select the “Plans and Add ons” tab
  • Click on “Change Phone Number”
  • Then, you can choose to select a new phone number or to transfer a wireless or wireline number from another provider.

You will need to provide the same information as requested during the activation process above.Your previous service provider may also send an SMS text to validate the transfer, so ensure your old SIM card is still in your device so you can receive and respond to this message. Please do not replace your old SIM card with your Public SIM until the number has been successfully transferred.
