Cancelled my account still being charged

I cancelled my account and every month I still get charged. I no longer have an account so cannot sign in to cancel it AGAIN. I feel caught in a bad situation and need to speak ( live chat) w a moderator. @Moderator

Hmmm, if you ported out then your account will be closed and payment should have stopped.

Did you port out before your renewal date or after the renewal date?

I would highly recommend that you contact a CS_Agent (Moderator) by private message on the envelope icon above to have them straighten it out for you and request a refund if you ported out before your renewal date.

 

@susanday  If your ported number successfully then you account closed but if your still being charged your need support for refund 

while your already here and logged in the community

How did you cancel, @susanday ?

 

There is no option to cancel service.

 

You either remove the source of payment or port your number to another provider.

 

If you did indeed ‘cancel’, and are being charged for services you’re not receiving, do a chargeback with your credit card provider IF public mobile will not refund them.

There is NO live chat nor phone number to talk to live person.

While in Community, contact agent and explain situation.

To Contact CSA-agent; there are 2 methods:

Ticket has to be opened through chatbot - https://widget.telus.tiia.ai/publicmobile/publicmobile.html

Having a ticket is preferred way to contact agent as they might respond faster then receiving personal mail.

If opening a ticket does not work very first time, contact agent directly.
