Hi, I can’t access my public mobile account to access my account number.

my sister buys her phone cards/plan at shoppers drugmart/sometimes walmart. It starts with a C (i forget) and is affordable. a $40 phone plan "gift card", you text the providers number and it will ask for the code on the back of card you just bought, and your phone starts working right away! the only mishap that has happened in when the cashier you buy it from forgets to activate it, then you just walk in and ask them to fix it or do an exchange for a new card that they will then activate.

Same thing, its on public mobiles end. First my plan ends 13 days early; fine the credit card linked to pay every 3 months expired in dec2022. My mum pays and uses her email/account. Secondly the text it sent me in the morning had a link to publicmobileselfserve etc, the link still says safari cannot connect to internet (only that link) so i call *611, says i have to login to enroll my new card... My mums trys to login with her password she just reset 4 months ago(which took a week to sort out)The login wont work, finally we reset the password again; password reset and login are unavailable at this time... we wait 3 hours and have tried logging in or reseting the password multiple times; nothing. Im expecting a phone call tomorrow night and will not be able to take it due to the renewal cancelling my plan early as my plan has always renewed on the 15-17th of the third month; as soon as it found out my card is expired it cancelled my plan two weeks early (march2nd not the 15th) At this point my mum wants me to switch to fido, i dont want that as im going to start paying myself very soon and my plan is perfect and affordable. She says public mobile isnt cheap anymore as every provider does $40 a month phone plan. I guess im switching,, farewell. *Just a tip i came accross apprently using incognito/private tab on google or safari may help some issues, but i always use incognito mode and it still did not work. Public mobile would be great if you didnt need to enroll a new credit card to a site that only sometimes works!

PM has been having this same issue for a lot of people. Would be great if they fixed it.

Not a device issue,  it's a PM programming / service issue.

you will need to try to get back into My Account to get the number then 

 

please submit a ticket with CS agent 


at : https://publicmobile.ca/chatbot.

First type Forgot Login,
then select the only choice there: "Contact..",
finally click link the blue link about submit a ticket
Another page will open and just follow: .

After ticket is submitted, make sure to check your Community Inbox(top right corner envelope icon) periodically for response from PM

 

If you have problems submitting a ticket, you can open ticket by private message (but this can take longer):

For some reason my IMEI didn’t work either and they need my account #

HI @Micahschut   are you trying to port out your number?  yes, you need the account number to port out the phone number.  However, some carriers allow you to just enter your IMEI instead of account number.  So, you can try that instead if you are in a rush to port out your number

First try to use the Reset Password link there on the login page (or direct link: https://myaccount.publicmobile.ca/en/forgot-password) enter any possible email addresses you could have used and see if it works

 

if that does not work, PM support will be your friend then, please open ticket with them

Start by typing "Forgot Login Information", then click "Contact Us",, then click "Click here to submit a ticket ↗"

**Monitor your Community inbox (envelope icon on the top right) after the ticket is opened. CS Agent will reply to you there

Try using different browser. Try Incognito/private mode. Clear browser’s cache. Try forced refresh. Use computer and not phone to log in.
