Calls getting dropped

tinattho
Great Neighbour / Super Voisin

My calls keep getting dropped and other people can't call me. When I try calling a valid number, it says "6UM1 the number you have reached is not in service". Other times, when I call someone, the call immediately cancels and it's the same when they try to call me. 1/3 of the times, my calls go through successfully.

I restarted my phone, tried my sim card on another phone and my calls keep getting dropped. I switched from LTE to 3G for calls and it doesn't work.

Here's a few other numbers you can test calling to help test call reliability...

226-336-1437 Rick Astley Hotline (plays music for about 3.5 minutes)

And two numbers you can test recording/playback/realtime echo test by https://thetestcall.blogspot.com/

  • +1 416 342 9562 - Toronto
  • +1 250 412 5922 - Victoria

@tinattho try add 1 before the calling phone number: 1-area code-phone number.

some others have reported this as well. It’s sometimes due to a system overload, sometimes it isn’t. Are you able to try your public mobile Sim card in another device for a while to see if the problem persists? If it does, definitely reach out to the customer support staff and perhaps they may be able to reprovision your account or Sim card which may help.
