Calling Voice Mail

Hello,

Just switched to PM and wanted to set up voice mail. With my old company I pressed and held "1" on my keypad and it went to my voicemail. Now it is asking me to set it up by entering a voicemail phone number. What is the voicemail phone number for Public Mobile?

 @PaulKozak : Your dialer should have an option somewhere to set the voicemail access number. Choose any one from the list provided. It doesn't matter which one due to all plans having Canada-wide.

Some providers use a short code. This one uses a full phone number.

@PaulKozakTo retreive your own voice mail, you can just call your number from your own phone.

Once your new SIM is provisioned (if that doesn't happen automatically after a day or two, you can message a PM agent requesting it), it will recognize it's own phone number, and presumably the "1" key will automatically work then as well.

you can try reseat the SIM card and Make sure your phone is off before removing your SIM card,

1. power off your device

2. take out the SIM card,

3. waiting a 1 minute,

4. put it back and power on,

5. toggling airplane mode off/on,  

and try manually selecting network "3G ONLY" or WCDMA only,

*what is meant by rebooting the device turn off and turn it back on.
