Account Suspension - Wintering South for 4 months

MareS
New in Town / Nouveau en Ville

Hello,

We are going away again for the winter and will be away for 4 months.  Can we still suspend the account for up to 90 days and keep the account and number.  It worked for us last year but want to make sure it is still in affect.

Thank you, Mare

As long as you activate before 90 days of suspension, you should be fine.

Here is some additional information:

Hello @MareS

You'd have to resume the account no less than day 89. If you hit day 90 then your account is fully closed. Worse case, while you're away, you can, any time, during those 4 months, change to the lowest account which is $15, let the payment go through and once you see it has gone through, turn off auto pay. Then when you come back you can change the plan to anything that's available to current customers. Or if you're wanting to keep the plan you have now, maybe during the week before you come back, between day 80-85, log on and restart auto pay and make payment. Then worse case you miss a week or two worth of not using the phone but keep your plan. Make sense?

Yes you still can. Just make sure to come back and pay in time for the 90 days to activate your service again.
