@tom199628  Dial 611 from your phone to verify your account is active. If yes, then check the number to make sure it's correct. Try dialing another number manually to see if it works.

After trying all suggestions and it is still not working, your account may not be provisioned correctly.  Adding $1 to your account may trigger PM server to provision your account again.

Hi @tom199628

Do you have Canada wide or province side calling?

Please check that you are not missdialing and trying to reach a USA destination.

If you are not, what happens when you dial 1 before the number

@tom199628

Restart your phone and try again.

If you get a warning message about the long distance charge, just let it ring and let the continue.  There is no overage charge because PM plans are prepaid.

Try adding a 1 before phone number.

@tom199628 It should. Did you try to add +1 in front of the area code of the number you are calling?

Try dialing 1 before the area code.  Also try rebooting your phone.

What is happening are you getting a message that it's a long distance call?

What's the area code you're calling?

Did you let the message play all the way through? As it is a standard message and it should complete the call after it's done playing the message.

You can also put a 1 infront of number to avoid that message.

Let us know with more details please
