Hi. Just Really Curious, as This is My way of Learning This and being much more Educated in this:

3G/4G What's Major Difference between the two?

HSPA/HSPA+

Is HSPA 3G

HSPA+ 4G?

Do Both Share Similar Frequencies, or Completely Different Frequency Spectrums?

I know LTE Is Better than 4G, Essentially 4.5G

Frequency is 1700MHZ & 2100MHZ

Not Pleading Ignorance, Just Willing to Understand so When I Buy My nxt Phone to Hop in PM, Just wish to Understand. Thirsty to Learn, Willing to Learn

Makkahn28,

In the above article, there is a section entitled "LTE". At the end of the section, there are two hyperlinks: Wikipedia and here. If you were to click " here", a page will be displayed that lists bands, frequencies, and countries throughout the world.

Beyond that, Google is your best friend for acquiring information.

Heard that UMB was an Original LTE Concept.

Still would have been Nice to see Technology like This Utilized instead of Discarded

Also, what was UMB (ULTRA MOBILE BROADBAND)  supposed to be like?

Supposed Successor to CDMA2000. Fascinated at This.

Telus should have Or Old Public Mobile Should have Used UMB Technology.

Would have been Kool.

Does UMB (ULTR A MOBILE BROADBAND) Use Sims too? Very Intriguing

Are 850MHZ and 1900 MHZ Meant for 3G, or both 3G and 4G? 900MHZ and 1800MHZ Too?

What's Major Difference between them? Fascinated, They Sound the Same to Degree

1700-2100MHZ LTE? Is that the Only Bands that support LTE?

What I meant, 850MHZ and 2400MHZ 3G example

900MHZ and 1400MHZ 4G example Not actual placed properly I understand.

Hi. So far, Good Start. Now, Looking for Frequency Specific Spectrum, 850MHZ, 1700MHZ in Their correct Places. This way, I know exactly what Phone to Buy. Not all Models of same Brand, Moto G example, have same Frequency.

Moto G PM Transition, let's say is 850MHZ and 2400MHZ

Moto G X123, another example, Uses 950MHZ and 1400MHZ

Example only.

Need to Know, So When I do need a new Phone, I get Correct Model.

Discovered to my bewildered expression that each Model of same Phone essentially use Totally Different Band Frequencies. This is Just for My Records, My way of Learning. Afterall, To be Tech-Savvy, Must Understand The Foundations 101.

But, Really fascinated. Already loving the Freedom of Knowledge
