@adammus1,

You account from your old provider must be in good standing and paid while you are doing the transfer.

You can fill the porting form from your self-serve account here.

https://selfserve.publicmobile.ca/Overview/plan-and-Add-ons/msisdn-swap/

If the porting fail, you have to send an email to Public Mobile.

How to send an email ?

Click on this link : https://publicmobile.ca/en/on/contact-us

Then, at the bottom right of the page, click on "Email away" button.

  - Choose ""

  - Choose ""

  - Pick the option that matches closest to what you’re looking for help with.

Porting a mobile number takes around 2-4 hours.

Porting a landline number takes 7 to 14 business days.

Hello,

Contact your old service provider as soon as possible to have the mistake corrected, or send a web mail to Public Mobile. Click on Contact Us on this site's home page. Another page will open with Email Away on it. Click that. Another page will open with a web form on it. Complete and submit it to Public Mobile. In about 2 or 3 business days, an agent of Public Mobile will contact you.

Until the mistake is corrected, you can choose a Public Mobile number free of charge. Log into your self serve account, click the tab called Plan and Add-ons, and then the tab called Change Phone Number. Choose a number for your province and city.

Do NOT cancel your old number. When it is successfully ported, your old account will be automatically deactivated.

Good luck!
