porting number out of PM but keeping plan

Is is possible to port your number out of PM but still keep plan and just have a new number assigned. 

Maybe once port complete ask mod to manually fix account with new number?

Ditto what was said above. If you're planning on testing out another service, I'd say to get a new number to try it out, and only if you're satisfied should you port your number away. Alternatively you could try to port a new number into the PM plan, and then try your luck at getting your old number under the new carrier/plan.

You have only 2 options keep plan by porting in a new number or keeping number by porting out and losing plan
