Do you have a calendar handy? Count AUG 6 as Day 1 and Aug 7 as Day 2 until you get to Sep 4 which is Day 30. So your plan actually expires on Sep 4 not the Sep 5, if you want to have active Service from Sep 5 to Oct 4 then make sure you have enough money in your Public Mobile account on the evening of Aug 4 or set up/activate Auto Pay which will take money out Automatically in the early hours of Sep 5

You've actually only paid for up until and including September 4th. The renewal system will try to renew your plan very early on September 5th. August 6th counts as a full day even if you activated at night time on that day.

If your line was active on the 6th ... There are 31 days in August... So looking at the calendar it makes sense to expire on the 5th. I count 30 days

That is exactly 30 days? August had 31 days in it.
