 @RezaT

I have had the 2021 Bison (Android 11) for a couple of months now. I got a OS update mid of August... MMS works fine on the stock messaging app (= Google Messages)..

Is everything on the phone up to date?

@RezaT

On your APN, do you have MVNO type:  and MVNO value: ?  set to blank for both

Also,   did you try putting SIM from another provider and see how it goes?  Yes, it might be just an APN settings with PM  SIM you have, but just want to see if you would have the same issue with other SIM

.. and you want to try a Factory Reset ?

@RezaT

was the phone used for a different provider?

can you make sure you only have the APN settings for public mobile and delete the others.

then reset your network settings

can you try installing your own sim on the phone and then test the MMS. if it works then look at the APN settings and copy it exactly on the other sim when you reinstall it

@RezaT , did you try posting the question to Umidigi Community as well?

 @darlicious : Did that too. I would agree to pare the APN Type down and to just have IPv4 but for my test (in/out of airplane mode) it kept working.

Edit: oh...but I kept 4D

@Anonymous

I haven't seen that one before....just noticed the IPv4/IPv6 APN protocol did you change that too? Or is that going to be @RezaT 's error preventing MMS from being sent?

 @darlicious : I thought that was interesting...so I tried it. Still browse, still send MMS.

APN roaming protocol: IPv4

MVNO type: GID

MVNO value: 4D4F

@RezaT

Maybe just to be sure to narrow things down to the phone or the service, try the SIM in another phone and see if MMS does/doesn't work in it as well?
