Sometimes can't receive MMS

frozenmelon
Good Citizen / Bon Citoyen

Here's the situation:

  • I can send MMS always and receive MMS from people sometimes
  • I always have my data turned on and I am not over my data limit
  • I have the correct APN settings (see below)
  • When I fail to receive the MMS, I get an error message that when clicked brings me to compose new text message rather than to the existing conversation with the person who tried to send me that message (I don't get the prompt to download the message. it's like they never sent it)

Any help would be appreciated!

There are a few people who can't recieve messages from me. No idea why it is, but 99% of the people I try can get them. I wonder if it is the same for you. That one person has something misconfigured on their end stopping your message (like maybe accidentally blocking you).

Missing messages do not show up in usage history.

@frozenmelonCan you see your MMS usage via your usage tap in your selfserve? Can you find whether the messages that are missing arrived at Public Mobile?
