SIM card not recognized by network

Hi there,

I am in the process of switching from Koodo to Public Mobile. I have inserted my new public mobile sim card, but when I go under settings and try to connect to the network it says sim card not recognized by the network. I have taken it in and out and turned my phone off and on, and when I log into my account everything looks totally normal- my number switched over, account active etc.

@Caigeann What is your phone make / model? Does it have dual SIM card slots?

@Caigeann, if everything looks normal but your SIM is not registering on the network, I suggest contacting the moderator team and have them look a little deeper into things to see if there is something wrong that is not immediately obivous from the self serve account.  The moderator team can be reached via private message using this link.  Refer to the following knowledge base link for information on contacting the moderator team.  Good luck and welcome to this service.
