Porting out of PM - odd email

biros

I am porting one of my numbers out of PM to another carrier.... I got the appropriate SMS message:

"Koodo: We've received a request to transfer this phone number to another service provider. To approve this request, please reply "Yes". If you.......etc etc...."

To which I reply Yes.

BUT, then a few minutes later I get a rather contrary email informing me that the exact opposite is about to happen if I reply Yes.  ie. You can't leave.... you are rebounding right back into PM....

This isn't a question for help... it's just an FYI to whomever programs those emails.... quite simply they are wrong.

@biros

Thank you for flagging this. I agree, strange timing to receive this email in a "port-out" experience. I notified the larger team who will look into this further.

Here is screen caps of both the SMS authorization message (which was good) and the email that followed which was "odd"..... with the timestamps underlined.

@biros

So that screen shot was sent AFTER you sent YES to port out? That is odd.

@J_PM  and  @CS_Agent seems incorrect, yes?
