Hello,

 

Did reply YES to old sim text message, outgoing, text, data all works find.

Incoming calls not coming or doesn't even start calls when called to my number.

issue as stated on title, please help.

Perform a Reset of your Network Settings. See if the kickstarts something.

Ports can take up to two hours to complete. Try logging into your freedom account. If you cannot or if it tells you your account is now cancelled or closed then you know that you just have to be patient and wait for the port to complete. If your account is still active then contacting the telus porting department will help identify the issue causing the port to not complete and you can rectify it with help from them. Generally though you will receive a text from pm after replying YES to the PAT (porting authorization text) that there is an issue with porting your number. They do not tend to contact you rather you should contact them or call the telus porting department.

can you try reseat the SIM card and Make sure your phone is off before removing your SIM card,

1. power off your device

2. take out the SIM card,

3. waiting a 1 minute

4. put it back and power on,

5. toggling airplane mode off/on,  

 

and do Rebooting your phone 

This is quick and simple,

 

*what is mean for Rebooting the phone means to turn off your phone and turn it back on again.

 

or can you try manually selecting network "3G ONLY" or WCDMA only,

and do again Rebooting your phone..

and you can try to reset network settings on an IPhone

Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

This also resets Wi-Fi networks and passwords,

How to reset network settings on an Android device
  1. Open the Settings app on your Android.
  2. Scroll to and tap either "General management" or "System," depending on what device you have.

If it has been a few hours after your port request, your port is likely stuck for some reason.  I will private message you the Telus porting team number who can further help with your porting request.  

 

If it has been less than a couple of hours, I would recommend waiting for a bit longer.

 If you haven't already, wait a few hours.  Number porting does not complete instantly.
