Hello guys I am moving to Nova Scotia next month, so will I have to change the number or the area code when I go there? Like right now the code is 226.

You can keep your number, if you need s local NS number you can always pick one with fongo and have it forwarded to your cell phone.

@winston11

If you keep your phone number when you move to nova scotia and use autopay or your card to manually top up youll save an additional 2% on the difference between the hst and ontario's tax rate.

If you want to look a little more local then yes. Otherwise, long distance is only on the caller. The new locals will be calling you long distance and depending on their calling package may have to pay to call you.

You can still using the same phone number if you want as all PM plans have Canada wide minutes.  It does not cost you extra for your to any one in Canada.

My kids still keep their AB numbers after they moved to Vancouver and Ottawa.

@winston11  It's your choice. If you wish to keep the same number you can.
