@Luz :First thing to do is figure out if the problem is with Public or with your phone etc, so start off by trying different things to eliminate possibilities.
1. Can you try your SIM card in another phone to see if that changes anything?
2. Log into self serve just to confirm everything ok there.
3. Test all other things like incoming outgoing calls etc.
Let us know what you find out so we can help find out what's wrong.
I forgot to mention earlier that the text function does not work only when I am out of the house. As soon as I am back home, that's the only time I can see the text that was sent to me. I don't have data when I go out.
