@troypavlek in addition to the verbiage @deltatux quoted, PM has gone though a couple of rounds of plan offering changes over the past couple of years, and each time they have grandfathered existing planholders for as long as (1) they keep the service active, or suspended no longer than 90 days, and (2) they don't change to another plan after a grandfathered plan is no longer offered (such as after Nov 20th).

So in other words, as long as you don't close your account, you can keep it.  Though, if you decide at some point to change to another plan, you won't be able to get this one back after Nov 20th.

Is there anywhere that actually states that the plan will be grandfathered? The only thing I can find is in the terms of service (https://www.publicmobile.ca/pdfs/Public_Mobile_Terms_of_Service.pdf) that Public Mobile can change any rates without notice.

@troypavlek, please see the announcement post here. http://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/Announcements/Limited-Time-4GB-40-Plan-Promo-launching...

It says & I quote:

"If you have signed up for the promotional plan, you will be able to keep it after the promo period, as long as you are an active customer"

Hope this helps!

The promotion just came out and the plan is here to stay longer if you decide to take the promotion.

So we should not yet think about grandfathering.

So if I choose a 90 days plan, the plan will renew at the same promotion price when the first 90 days expires?

I am really thinking to jump in...

Yup, as long as your account remains active.
