How do you enable private/ incognito mode and clear browser history on your phone's?

Going to incognito/ private mode and clearing your browser history seems to be a solution to many information entering issues. On my Umidigi F1 Android 9 phone, which has the Google and Chrome internet browsers installed. I can't figure this out on Google. But Chrome is easy .

Android - tap 3 dots On the top ride of your screen and choose incognito mode from the drop down menu. You can also clear your browser history history from here.

If you know how it's done to the Google browser on android, please share this information. Also, knowledgeable iPhone users please share how it's done on an IPhone. Thanks.

With your smokeshow there did you intentionally put ShawnC13 behind you so that we wouldn't be able to see him? 🙂 But at least I can see the elusive stonechucker to your back left. 🙂

Thanks @Luddite , the wiki link supplies all the answers, if someone needs to know how to do it. I will use it if someone asks here.

I'm sorry @gblackma   if you really want to make a guide (and get bravos) then you need to put some effort into it.  Make sure it is something that adresses an issue  then people will remember them.  Oherwise they will dissapear into the abyss.

Google is just the search engine on Android. It will quickly google search queries for you. Chrome is the full browser in which Google's Search engine is built into.

Exactly the widget is just a shortcut to have the google search bar readily available

I think this depends on what browser you are using on your Android device.  The three dots on my browser are at the bottom in the middle.  I am using Chromium Edge

In keeping with the admonishment that "it's better to teach a man to fish, than just providing a fish", I scrounge the web using a favourite search engine: https://www.ecosia.org/?c=en

I know That Chrome is Google's browser @Dunkman . But for some reason on Android phones, they put both a Google and a Chrome internet browser app. You can tap either and access the internet, on Chrome, its easy to go incognito, but on Google I can't seem to find it. Did Google just split their computer desktop chrome browser into 2 seperate entities, each with specific capabilities?

@gblackma

Chrome is owned by Google.  I did not know that Google also had a different separate web browser.
