Did you mean:

H+ connection but no data.

Only sends/recieves data on LTE connection. But once it falls back on H+, no data is exchanged. I live in an area where LTE isn't always available. Any solves?

Phone:

Samsung S20 5G, USA version.

Seems like the area I live in has high fluctuating signals? Is this normal.

I believe that I have the same model as you, the SM-G981U1. I would recommend that you go to Settings->Connections->Mobile networks and check to see if you are on Global mode. Switch to LTE/3G/2G (auto connect), or 3G as previously mentioned. I started to have problems with phone calls dropping a few months ago, despite having been using the phone for a year. It had been recommended to me to have the settings ignore the 5G band since we don't have access to that network, so that the phone doesn't look for something that isn't there.

Force your phone to use 3G only to see if it will connect better to that network without it searching out the 4G LTE network. Toggle airplane mode on/off after switching to establish a new connection to the network.
