@DONALD1

If you want to keep your phone number you can port it out to a provider that does serve your community. This will immediately close your account but you should still remove your autopay. Porting a number out still requires your account to be active so make sure you do it before your renewal.

Are you able to share what community you live in? On is on the same network as Telus bell Koodo and virgin, and cover most of Canada .

Ti cancel you account remove autopay it will then expire 90 days after no payment. Or enable lost stolen node. After this the account will expire after 99 days

@DONALD1

In general, Public mobile is prepaid service and there are no refunds.  You can contact moderator as described above and see what they can do.

However, if you can describe your situation, your issue might not be a public mobile coverage issue.  Maybe the community members can help sort out your issue.  Public mobile uses Telus.Bell towers so in general, good coverage across canada.  Did you check the coverage map?

Please remove your phone number from your post and contact a moderator to help you. Thank you!

To fix, please contact a moderator, to do this, go to https://publicmobile.ca/en/on/get-help

Then chat with SIMon. Say “submit a ticket” then say “Account specific question”, then say “No, I need a human now”

The bot will show you a website and then you will be able to submit a ticket to fix your problem. You will need to login to your Community account though.

Or you can go to https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/composepage/note-to-user-id/22437 and contact moderators by that way.

Note: I do recommend using the first way though.
