The competition, Telus, somewhat of an unfair offer for mobility service.

Hello

Those discounts come from contracts between Telus and the company it-self. Those contracts gives big discounts because the company brings many employees to have an account with the service provider. It is almost the same  as a grocery store having a discount when they buy a big amount of a produce.

Here's an exemple: A contract between Telus and an hospital with 200 employees will have big discounts on the services because the hospital can bring up to 200 clients. Even if just half of them go with Telus under the said contract it is still 100 accounts.

Hope I've been able to make things clearer for you.

Have a nice day.

Roger has affiliate discounts if your a student at certain schools or work at certain sister companies.

Every company has deals for their own workers, it's one of the employee benefits. Like working at a retail store and getting a discount on products they sell.

Life is never "fair"?

Why it is unfair?
Telus always offered deep discounts for employees of companies using its services (mobile phones service, internet, etc.).

This is like complaining why bank staff have banking perks and discounts (no fee accounts, etc.).
