The CRTC has rejected Telus's application to charge a "credit card fee" of 1.5% when you pay for your landline, using your credit card. CRTC wasn't happy with the application at all, suggesting the additional fee is "contrary to affordability and consumer interest."
Other Telus services still could still be at risk of seeing the fee added in the future.

@hairbag1lets hope they understand Tier 3 is for cheap people like me. And Telus would not bring this fees here. LoL

Yes but it's only not allowed for the phone service so telus will be able to carry on with this fee for internet and tv services. I don't think that's very fair and the fee should not be charged for the rest of the service but crtc doesn't have mandate to rule for the other services.
