How to change the phone Setting if someone post new questions in the public community right away Shows in your phone?

Hi @pm-smayer97 ,
When this post first came out I was interested in doing the same thing as the original person who posted the question.
I private messaged the Moderator_Team and with back and forths they helped me test this until the steps worked for me.
I also browsed the forums and found another post, which I thought I referenced in my answer.
I mean no disrespect to you, Public Mobile or anyone else.

@esjlivnot sure why you are copying other people's answers. That is bad form. All you have to do is point them to where the answer is if it is not yours.

Hi @pm-smayer97 ,
Fair enough!
I could have saved steps and copied the "URL from the forum area"...(yes, probably the quicker method).
This was just the method/steps I took to obtain the feeds(s) to be emailed to me. I like seeing the code and grabbing the link from there. And it worked great. 🙂

Subscribing to RSS feeds ONLY works and is ONLY needed if you have and plan to use an RSS reader, which neither Firefox nor Chrome have built-in (don't know about other browsers).
Hi @pm-smayer97, 👍
The steps I provided are really "RSS to Email". You grab the appropriate link to do the "RSS to Email" process in the "Subscribe to RSS Feed".

Hello .... Following up!
After my first post on this thread and seeing it did not work exactly as I expected, I submitted a ticket with the Moderators. They reiterated one solution that was previously mentioned by @srlawren .
(found using this link: https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/Plans-Add-Ons/Re-How-to-get-notified-of-ANY-New-Promo...)
So I tried it and it works!!
Here are the steps I took in hopes to provide it simply:
Subscribing to RSS Feed:
1-Create an account on https://blogtrottr.com/ (or other of your choice)
2-Back to Public Mobile Community under the “Browse” button, top left corner of the screen, select areas you want to subscribe to and select “Subscribe to RSS Feed”
3-The document tree will open.
As an example, I have provided what is looks like to subscribe to the “Announcements”. You will see this at the top:
This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.
<rss xmlns:content="http://purl.org/rss/1.0/modules/content/" xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:rdf="htt...">
<channel>
<title>Announcements topics</title>
<link>https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/Announcements/bd-p/Announcements</link>
4-Copy https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/Announcements/bd-p/Announcements
5-Paste it in your “My Subscriptions" in your blogtrottr account.
And Voila! You will be notified via the email you entered in your blogtrottr account.
NOTE: these notifications are not available for automatic PUSH, so they get PUSHED out hourly.

I wanted to follow up on this. Soon after I responded I tried subscribing to a RSS Feed, and it would not work for me. I was getting redirected to a page of "code-like" data of the existing feed. It was not notifying me as expected either.
I tried it in incognito mode, and this did not work...in case someone was thinking of that.
However, if you're not already an RSS user (and don't see other uses for it), then you may have more luck using an RSS-to-email service. @pm-smayer97 posted an excellent guide to doing so here: https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/Plans-Add-Ons/Re-How-to-get-notified-of-ANY-New-Promo...
Yes, Chrome does not have a built-in RSS reader and Firefox just dropped support for a built-in RSS reader as of Nov 2018 with v64, so the only way to use RSS is to have a seaparate RSS reader. But the link above is a much better alternative IMO for those who do not need and RSS feeder nor want to learn how to use one.
@srlawrenthanks for posting.

@esjliv @Jackhyf63 the "code like" data is exactly what you actually need to subscribe to an RSS feed. But you need to use an RSS service/app. You can find out more about how to do that here: https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/Discussions/Brief-Guide-How-to-subscribe-to-a-communi...

Login to your community account.
Click on My settings. You will be on PERSONAL --> email page. Don't select the "Don't send me any community emails". Make sure that your "Email verification status" is verified. You will get an email for every posts on this forum.

I connected with the moderators and they submitted a ticket about it, and said they are looking into it.
So, I wanted to mention this incase you or anyone else had the same issue.
Cheerio!

If you select subscribe to RSS feed you should get alerted. Also, you can go into settings to choose if you'd like to receive emails when someone posts on the community or replies to you or mentions you.

Hi @Jackhyf63 ,
**UPDATE**
RSS Feed to Email:
1-Create an account on https://blogtrottr.com/ (or other of your choice)
2-Back to Public Mobile Community under the “Browse” button, top left corner of the screen, select area you want to subscribe to.
Let's use "Announcements" as an example.
3-Copy URL "https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/Announcements/bd-p/Announcements"
4-Paste it in your “My Subscriptions” in your blogtrottr account.
And Voila! You will be notified via the email you entered in your blogtrottr account.
NOTE: these notifications are not available for automatic PUSH, so they get PUSHED out hourly.
You could use the built-in RSS subscription feature of this forum BUT if means learning and knowing how to deal with RSS and using another piece of software to do this. Chrome does not have a built-in RSS reader and Firefox just dropped support for a built-in RSS reader as of Nov 2018 with v64. If you really want to use a RSS reader, click to read the instructions on how to set up RSS feed. BUT the solution above is easier.
Steps above also found using this link: : https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/Plans-Add-Ons/Re-How-to-get-notified-of-ANY-New-Promo...
