Freedom Mobile giving 2GB data during Covid-19..Will PM do the same?

Just saw this article on mobilesyrup stating the freedom mobile will be giving 2GB of data.
Will Public Mobile follow their footsteps?

Actually got me to click the mobilesyrup link to learn more.

Because I didn't know Freedom has 2G backup on their network (because they don't).

PM is not obligated to follow the step of other providers. PM gave away 1gig of data at Christmas time for PM customers, did Freedom do the same thing?

Thanks for sharing this @Vehicle711 is this on both their prepaid and postpaid plans? I looked at their site and I can't tell if it is. It's still a nice gesture, would be nice if it was matched here. Even a 1 gig bonus add on would be appreciated.
